I had a crummy day the day I bought these shorts. I’m not usually a person that wears shorts, but something about these were calling my name. Could have been the fact that they are purple holographic sequins that are exquisite in the sunlight. Could have been that the pockets are actually worth a damn. Could have been the lining is pretty damn nice. Whatever it was I felt pretty and spunky and didn’t feel “bleh” or “Ugh” while wearing them. They were perfect while running around parade day and getting ready for the night. I felt like I was in costume while not being in costume. If I could make any kind of change it would maybe be a thicker band at the waist. Maybe 2.5in to 3in wide. I like that sense to secureness, but overall I’m completely happy with them.
