Let's Talk Sparkle Care!
We get asked all the time how to care for our garments so without further ado, let’s talk SPARKLE CARE!
SEQUINS
HAND WASHING
We recommend hand-washing these garments in luke-warm water. The best way to do this is to fill up your sink or bathtub, add a bit of detergent (delicates detergent is best), hand-wash the garment and hang dry.
MACHINE WASH (with caution)
If you have a newer washing machine you can machine-wash the sequins in a delicates bag on delicates cycle. We recommend doing this at your own risk as if there are any snags on the inside of your washing machine they may ruin the garment. We recommend hand-washing but if you are anything like Kelsey and lazy in the laundry department, machine washing is an option as well.
PAILLETTES
HAND WASH ONLY
The pailletes are beautiful, but more delicate and require hand-washing. Fill your sink or bathtub with luke-warm water and some detergent and hand-wash these garments. Hang dry.
VELVETS
HAND WASHING
We recommend hand-washing these garments in luke-warm water. The best way to do this is to fill up your sink or bathtub, add a bit of detergent (delicates detergent is best), hand-wash the garment and hang dry.
MACHINE WASH (with caution)
If you have a newer washing machine with a delicates cycle you can machine wash these velvets in cold water with delicate detergent. Use a delicates bag for extra safety. Hang dry.
TINSEL JACKETS
SPOT CLEAN & DRAG QUEEN CLEAN
The tinsel jackets can be spot-cleaned on the lining using a stain agent. Both the lining and tinsel can get wet but do so sparingly. If you are looking to disinfect or release any odors, you can turn the jacket inside out, spray it with pure white vinegar or pure vodka and let it sit out to release any odors and disinfect the jacket.
